Nederman Original Arm

Nederman Original arm

The Original welding fume extraction arm is the perfect solution for extracting welding smoke, fumes and dust in workshops. Our extractor's patented design ensures optimum fume and dust capturing capacity and maneuverability. The extraction hood has integrated easy-to-reach buttons for lighting and fan control. The extractor is suspended by a swivel, which allows the product to rotate 360 degrees. This makes the extraction arm flexible in all directions and very simple to position. The Original extraction arm can be mounted in combination with different brackets, extension arms, on exhaust rails or on fixed or portable filter equipment. The product is equipped with a damper in the hood as standard. The welding fume extraction arm is available in lengths from (7-16 ft), and can be mounted on a ceiling, wall or bench or to an extension bracket. A wide range of accessories give unlimited possibilities to match the needs at any workplace.

Also available in a corrosion resistant CR model in white.


Extraction Arm NEX MD

Nederman Extraction Arm MD

NEX MD welding fume extraction arms are the top of the range arms when it comes to high airflows and extraction of media with higher temperatures than normal. The weld fume extractors are specially designed for working environments with very heavy smoke, vapours or non explosive dust. Typical workplaces are the metal fabrication industry or other type of industries where the need for extraction with large airflows is needed. The applications can be welding, laser or hand plasma cutting, metal spraying, grinding where lots of spatter is generated, or other industrial processes where a perfect balanced and easily positioned extraction arm is required. Nederman NEX MD is an welding fume and welding dust extraction arm that also has a newly designed hood. The hose, 160 mm in diameter (6,3"), in combination with the external arm system, provides a high air flow and a low pressure drop. Nederman NEX MD is thus perfect in medium to heavy duty applications. The arm is available in four lengths, 2-5 m (6.6-16 ft). 


Extraction Arm NEX HD

 NEX HD welding fume and dust extraction arms are the top of the range arms when it comes to high airflows and extraction of fume and dust with higher temperatures than normal. Typical workplaces are the metal fabrication industry or other type of industries where the need for extraction with large airflows is needed. The applications can be welding, laser or hand plasma cutting, metal spraying, grinding where lots of spatter is generated, or other industrial processes where a perfect balanced and easily positioned arm is required. The NEX HD welding fume and dust extraction arm is also available with a patented hood design. The hood, made of aluminium, is resistant to high temperatures of extracted air (+120°C) and has a very high capturing capacity. The NEX HD model is ideal for heavy duty welding and where high airflows are demanded. The arm is available in four lengths; 2-5 m (6.6-16 ft).

The Nederman combustible dust extraction arm NEX D is equipped with an earthed ventilation hose made of FDA approved ingredients. The NEX D dust extractor is suitable for industries where hygiene is a top priority. The NEX D dust extraction arm has concealed joints and a separate easy to mount hose. Enclosed support arm, separate hose and a stainless steel hood means the NEX arm requires little maintenance and is easy to clean. The NEX D arm is not marked with the EX symbol since it does not fall under the scope of the directive 2014/34/EU. Even it it does not have the EX marking, it is highly suitable for use in zones 22 according to ATEX-work directive directive 1999/92/EC. To be used in environments with explosive dust The arm is single earthed by the helix in the hose. The hose is made of PVC with FDA approved components.

The dust extractor is suitable for industries where hygiene is a top priority. NEX DX has concealed joints and a separate easy to mount hose. Enclosed support arm, separate hose and a stainless steel hood means the DX extraction arms require little maintenance and is easy to clean. The NEX DX arm is not marked with the EX symbol since it does not fall under the scope of the directive 2014/34/EU. Even it it does not have the EX marking, it is highly suitable for use in zones 21,22 according to ATEX-work directive directive 1999/92/EC. The arm is double earthed, by the helix in the hose and through the arm system. The hose is made of antistatic Polyurethane. 




Extraction Arm Nex S

Nederman NEX S Arm for pharmaceutical dust

The NEX S arm fulfills all requirements for use in environments containing explosive dust and gas, and with extremely high hygienic demands. It has a double earthed system and antistatic earthed ventilation hose that prevents static electricity and sparks. Open support arm system and hood of acid proofed polished stainless steel requires little maintenance and makes it easy to clean. NEX S is approved for explosive environments and marked as follows according to the ATEX-directive 2014/34/EC: EX II 2 D/G II: Group II, for use above ground. (Not for mining) 2: Equipment category 2, working in zone 1/21 D: To be used in environments with explosive dust G: To be used in environments with explosive gas. The arm is double earthed, by the helix in the hose and through the arm system.   

Available in 5" and 6" diameter hoses.




Extension Arm

Nederman extension arm

The Nederman 4.2m (13.2 ft)  and 6m (19.6 ft) extension arm for extraction arms is designed to be used when extra reach is needed. The extension or is manufactured from robust steel profiles. The extension can be connected direct to a single fan or to a ducted system. The extension arm is suspended by a pivoting wall bracket close to the wall and a joint on the middle of the product, which makes it flexible in all directions. The product is equipped with a universal bracket at the end which fits all Nederman extraction arms, exhaust reels or single exhaust extractors. The arm is equipped with a diameter 200mm (7,78") hose, for high airflows. Duct kits are orderered separatley from the list of accessories. It is possible to support other products to the extension arm such as welding machines, hose and cable reels ,etc. All arm parts are treated with Nederman blue colour, except for the metal ducts which are galvanized. 

Telescopic Arm

 The Nederman Telescopic arm is specially designed for working environments with fumes, vapours or non explosive dust, where the space is limited. Typical workplaces can be welding schools or for production in small welding booths, or other industrial processes where a small, easily positioned arm is required. The reach of the arm is between 0.9 and 1.6m (3 and 5 ft).

Arm on a Rail

The Nederman fume extractor trolley with extractor arm, is intended to be used in combination with the rail Nederman ALU 150 when extraction from long working areas is required.


One extraction arm can serve several work places The trolley is easily moved along the rail suitable when welding along long work pieces. The trolley fits all Nederman extraction arms.





Benchtop Arms

The Nederman bench top systems can be used in every type of environment, from assembly stations, where soldering fumes are extracted, to laboratories, where protection against highly corrosive or noxious gases is vital. Bench top extraction systems are available both as complete packages and as individual components. A customised bench top extraction system consists of an extraction arm always with a mini hood (universal interface for other hoods), completed with different accessories such as brackets, extension arm, reducers, hoses etc. These parts are ordered separately. A bench top extraction system can be connected to a single fan filter N3, or to a central fan/filter. 

Vacuum Swing Arm

Swing arm SA-G is a on-tool extraction arm which offers maximum convenience when working with on-tool or on-torch extraction. Also ideal for the combination of grinding and welding applications. The design ensures that the arm smoothly follows the tool, for instance a sander, grinder, cutter or a welding torch. It supplies power to the tool and removes the dust. These corrosion-resistant extractions arms are equipped with two swivel points and are made of galvanized pipe. An integral compressed air hose comes as standard with the arm, enabling the user to conveniently connect an air-powered tool. Alternatively, the arm can be fitted with a cable for electric tools. For optimum efficiency, the use of an automatic vacuum valve is strongly recommended. 


Vacuum Balance Arms

In order to gain maximum accessibility, the balance extraction arm is built up with two gas damper balanced sections. The extractor has three swivel points, one at the base, one at the middle and one at the point where the nozzle is attached. The nozzle can therefore be moved to any chosen position within the reach of the balance arm. The arms can be equipped with all suction nozzles within the Nederman High Vacuum programme. The friction for sideways movement is adjustable. The balance arm can be mounted in three different ways: to a wall, to a work bench or to an extension arm.
